(Wanting) To Be Stuck In The Trenches
Something that can take you from the office to a night out?
Gentlemen, I have found the answer to all of your worries.
Trenches are in full force this Fall, giving you a classic and polished look from day to night. Season after season we continue to watch new takes on the ever-so-classic iconic trench coat. My opinion . . . go for something very simple: minimal detailing and skip the styles with a lot of hardware. Keep it classic so you can keep it in your closet for the next 10 years!

Zit Remedy
Most of my adult life I’ve suffered with many inconvenient breakouts on my face and back. The pimples seemed to miraculously pop up whenever I had an important event to attend; they also made me self conscious about wearing tank tops or anything backless.
Hundreds of dollars later and a myriad of products under my bathroom sink . . . I finally found clarification! The Body Shop’s Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash works wonders to control blemishes. My face and back have become mostly zit free zones—very inexpensively I might add. I’m so relieved I can now feel confident this summer in my tanks and summer dresses.

Trail Blazers
The two Canadian girls who make up the label Smythe, have really knocked it out of the park with their take on blazers. Their novel designs include accents of leather and stitching, along with varied textures, prints and patterns.

I’m Only Saying This Once
What’s one thing you can always throw on and look amazing in?
Um, well, jeans. Actually, when I think about it . . . it all depends on the style of denim. I’m not talking about faded, washed-out, ripped-to-shreds, acid-wash or studded jeans . . . I’m talking about classic style and perfect fit.
Don’t own a pair of those yet? Well, if you’re looking for a pair you can wear ten years from now and still look and feel absolutely amazing in, trust me . . . it will happen. I popped by Andrews last week (it’s becoming a weekly routine) and found a pair of cargo jeans . . . simple, classic and timeless. They have been around for decades and I’m sure they’re not leaving anytime soon. Plus, they’re from J Brand which already means fabulous quality and great fabrics. This style is part of their new collection and I’m sure they won’t be there for much longer so take off your heels and run over to Andrews.

Toy Watch Mania . . . Started By Guess Who?
Michelle Obama . . . Sandra Bullock . . . are you copying moi? I got my “first” Toy at least five years ago now. It was clear, with a splash ‘o white. My second was white with gold and bling . . .
Now it appears everyone is following my fashion lead . . . I guess I’m going to have to buy a third and it appears “lilac” would be the choice.
Cupido has a window-full but get yours soon . . . now that everyone knows I will be wearing “lilac” there will be a stampede . . . who will follow next . . . Lady Gaga . . . Fergie . . . Coco . . .
