Lighting Or Works Of Art?
I promised to keep you apprised of all the fabulous changes currently underway here at BV. Here is the scoop on lighting and chandeliers . . .
Combine Swarovski crystals, chain link and LED lighting and what do you have . . . a light fixture or a work of art? I have seen the prototypes and "incredible works of art" is the correct answer. We found an amazing artist from Quebec to create these masterpieces just for Bayview Village. There will be five magnificent chandeliers hanging from our Centre Court before you know it. They will be utterly bedazzling and extremely haute.
Another work of art is being created for the East Court area adjacent to our fabulous Gap store. It will reflect a totally different feeling than the chandeliers . . . more organic and modern . . . shaped from plastic resin with the ability to change color . . . a “one of a kind” creation just for you. Our customers have discriminating taste and we want all our new amenities to be “drool worthy”.
Finally, we have three incredibly cool floor lamps which will debut in their new home adjacent to Pusateri’s, which will be opening soon. This area will be exclusively for hanging out and catching up with friends, having a French Roast coffee from Lettieri, reading the latest Vogue from Chapters or grabbing a bite from our world class Pusateri’s store . . . did I mention we will also be offering free Wi-Fi to all our guests? How haute and cool . . .
We are busy working out the final details of all our plans and will be ready to debut them all very soon . . . not to mention a line-up of brand new stores including a renovated and expanded Andrews, the first Laurel store in Toronto, a brand new Luisa Cerano, the first Betty Barclay in Toronto and a very cool new Mendocino!!!!

Toy Watch Mania . . . Started By Guess Who?
Michelle Obama . . . Sandra Bullock . . . are you copying moi? I got my “first” Toy at least five years ago now. It was clear, with a splash ‘o white. My second was white with gold and bling . . .
Now it appears everyone is following my fashion lead . . . I guess I’m going to have to buy a third and it appears “lilac” would be the choice.
Cupido has a window-full but get yours soon . . . now that everyone knows I will be wearing “lilac” there will be a stampede . . . who will follow next . . . Lady Gaga . . . Fergie . . . Coco . . .

Haute Quiz
What has creamy “gorge” earth tones, marble and granite, rich leather and sumptuous fabrics, delicious warm woods, Swarovski crystals and chain mesh, all topped off with a splash of BV pink? The answer is “The Bayview Village Haute Renovation”.
Every gal needs a pick me up every now and then . . . a new lipstick, mile high heels, a new haircut, a wee spot of botox? The secrets belong to the sisterhood. Well, our grand dame Ms. Bayview Village is getting the full deal, a complete makeover from top to bottom happening even as we speak.
We are presently completing some of the mundane work like dry walling and valances. But hold on to that very haute hat because it will start very soon . . . new entrances, new furniture, comfy seating areas (for reading Vogue or The New York Times or sipping a latte or nibbling on a fresh baked baguette), chandeliers, a concierge . . . it's all coming soon.
If you have seen our new washrooms . . . well, then you know how special our customers are to us!!! We are making it all so beautiful just for you.
