Waiting (Im)patiently . . .
I have been waiting very impatiently for the new Andrews store to re-open . . . I've seen the sketches, the mock-ups, the materials . . . but I haven’t seen the doors open yet! Word around BV is that Andrews will be welcoming us with open arms at some point today, and with a stunning new concept and a line-up of new designers (Halston Heritage, Longchamp, Sonia By Sonia Rykiel, St. John, Smythe and so much more), I’m getting antsy!
I will keep you updated via Twitter all day today so you can be one of the first to check it out.
Lets cross our fingers ladies!

Grungy-Chic
Believe it or not, yours truly owns a pair of Doc Martens . . .
But I really have to say there's nothing else like them! They're fabulously comfortable and they're basically indestructible . . . with a steel-toe and some heavy duty leather. Doc Martens can suit both your glam and grungy looks, while giving off a classically edgy vibe.
These kicks are definitely a must-have for this Fall—they're bursting out in colours and designs to suit anyone's style needs.
I suggest you pop into Capezio and give them a try—you will love them! Just picture them with your skinny jeans and your beautiful chunky cable-knit sweaters!

The ever-so-fabulous Franco Mirabelli sat down at his gorgeous studio with our Marketing Director, Melissa Evans-Lee. The haute duo hashed out this season’s hot trends and also some hot topics . . . if Franco wasn't designing fashion for today’s stylish and powerful woman, what would he be doing?

The New Neutral
The Chanel Fall 2010 make-up collection has arrived at Fleuri Boutique . . . along with the nail polish of the season! "Paradoxal" is an edgy neutral with shades of dark plum and warm grey and a touch of shimmer. It is definitely a must-have for this Fall . . . don't leave the house without it, girls.

Taking The Fashion World By Storm
I'm a huge fan of Nina Garcia. I read her last three books and they were fabulous. I was super excited to hear that she was coming out with a fourth book, Nina Garcia's Look Book: What To Wear For Every Occasion, and it has finally arrived in Chapters at BV. This book will be a permanent fixture on your shelf, on your coffee table or maybe even in your handbag. This book, which you might call your new "bible", tells you what to wear for everything from a first date to a job interview.
You might have already seen her as a judge on Project Runway, or know her as fashion director of Marie Claire . . . all that I can say is that she is taking the fashion world by storm.
Happy reading.
